about

This song is a conversation with oneself, questioning the romantic area of love we live in. Is it all meant to be one individual, should one change his/her behavior to adapt, what does it mean to be loved, is there a difference of how we project it to be and what the reality is? In other words; do we romanticize it? Should we?

The reference to the Greek god Apollo is hence he was know for his different relationships with the human kind, doing the opposite of the romantic idea we have of love.

lyrics

I need to put you down, down my dear
Was that was, let it disappear
I've been fade to grey, I've been let astray
Been split in half, in a two way

Are we leaving to, to be loved?
Are we dreaming to be thought of?
And are we hungry to make believe?
What we think is true, Apollo?

Are we torn, or are we sworn for one? (x4)

And are we born to hold one true, my love?
Or will that all fade to dust?
Is it to be wild, and to be alone?
Or to be mild, and to let it go?

And are we leaving to, to be loved?
And are we dreaming to be thought of?
And are we hungry for make believe?
What we think is true, Apollo?

Are we torn, or are we sworn for one? (x4)

I need to put you down, down my dear
Was that was, let it disappear
Let it fade to grey, I've been let astray
I've been split in half, in a two way

Are we leaving to, to be loved?
Are we dreaming to be thought of?
And are we hungry to make believe?
What we think is real, Apollo?

Are we torn, or are we sworn for one? (x4)
